Chapter 1-
A messy brown haired girl ran through the streets of New York City, knife in hand, her name was Helen. She had just defended herself from the Da' Losses. She had no idea why they called themselves 'The Losses' if they never actually /lost/ a fight.
Helen was followed a white haired girl, her hair had silvery dashes here and there, and eyes of pinkish-red, an albino. Her name was Grace. Grace is Helen's best friend, and her and Helen had their own gang called The Opponents.
Now of course you may be wondering, why Opponents? Reasonably, it's because they seem to be able to make an opponent out of anyone.
Helen's messy hair blended in easily with the darkness of the city, but Grace's hair always showed with almost a glow around it. This always got the two girls caught. Helen, of course, never mentioned to her friend, figuring it would hurt her feelings. Grace wasn't tender-hearted, but she was offended when someone talked about her hair. It wasn't her fault she was albino! But, sometimes Helen forgot not to mention her looks.
"Grace! Pull up your hood!"
"Why?!"
"Hair."Helen said, motioning to it. Grace looked offended, but grabbed her hood and pulled it up over to cover her snowy hair. Helen reached out and gently stroked her hair down to her cheek."It's okay, my sweet."it was in her nature to do."It's not your fault your hair is so bright."Grace gave a little smile, looking at her feet"Uhm, Helen?"
"Yea-GRACE HIT THE DECK!!"Helen dropped to the ground and Grace followed her lead, a knife whizzed over their heads. Helen leaped up and threw her knife. She heard someone scream in pain, then leaped up and ran away as fast as she could, again Grace trailing her. A blonde braided girl stood nearby, clutching two other knives. She spun one through her fingers then threw it at Helen. Helen reached out and caught the blade by the handle."You can't beat the player at 'er own game."Helen threw the knife back at her, then another. The blonde ducked underneath both and bolted away. Helen ran after her, leaving Grace pressed up against the wall. "Get back here, Blondie!"Grace panted heavily and leaned across the wall of the building."Helen? Get back here!" the albino then raced across towards Helen and the blonde.

Helen yelped and screamed in pain as the blonde stabbed Helen's arms and legs through her tattered white dress. Helen's cries for help where stopped by the blond's hand against her mouth and her constant."Shh, hush my darling." Helen whimpered and cried,"Lemme go!" her struggling made the pain worse, and eventually she dropped to her knees."Okay!"she cried out."You win."the blonde chuckled."I had won before we started. You never compared to my ability."she said simply," My name is..well, it doesn't matter to you. You can just call me Boss,"Helen gasped in pain, a fog gathering around her and Boss. The haze in front of Helen was to much, her blood was draining and she couldn't take it anymore. She clutched her chest as her heart beat rapidly, she felt as if it would burst through her chest. She gasped quickly and loudly as Boss laughed. Then, finally, she passed out and dropped to the hard tar. The last sound she heard before she fainted was."Oh god..I hate doing this."she felt a nearby figure drop to the ground next to her, and a calloused hand landed on her's.
